Very true what you say. A troubled genius. I wasn't a particular fan of Joy Division but I suffered a nervous breakdown. I coped by talking to myself, like checklists - I must do this next etc. Now 15 years later I annoy the hell out of everybody!!! But it keeps you sane. I really feel for him. I found your comment spot on. Thanks for that

Curtis managed to translate his unbearable depressions in to hartbreaking genius poetry.
Sadly history to often shows that depression and genius lives in one corpus. Time is lineair, depression isn't. The price to be paid is high.
At the end God saved his soul.
