August 19th, 2008 at 06:21:42 What song is this?
August 19th, 2008 at 06:44:41 It's a song from that era 1991-1992, so it fits perfectly.
August 19th, 2008 at 07:07:40 Are you ready to Fly? Are you ready to flyhiiiiiiiiiiiihiiiiii FTW!!
August 19th, 2008 at 07:30:39 lool ya i second that! the video is pretty cool but wow what in the world is that song?
August 19th, 2008 at 07:53:38 Cool video but that music sucked ass
August 19th, 2008 at 08:16:37 Yes! remains in the annals of sport, although in the same race was beaten
August 19th, 2008 at 08:39:36 I have a question: if a jumper jumps past the world record but ends up losing (that is someone else later in the competition jumped farther), does the first jumper get the world record officially recorded (for those few minutes until it is broken by the eventual winner of the competition)?
August 19th, 2008 at 09:02:35 they had to extend the length of the pit after carl lewis' record
August 19th, 2008 at 09:25:34 din0might7, just because some of our athletes tested positive, doesnt mean we all do. more than half dont, maybe mnore than 3/4(or more than that, say 7/8). most other countries dont matter if they're drugged up or not simply because they're not good enough, with or without drugs.
August 19th, 2008 at 09:48:33 both track and field legends
August 19th, 2008 at 10:11:32 Powell made also a 8.99 in a competion in Italy (Sestriere) but it was too windy so it is not a record, but HE DID IT!
August 19th, 2008 at 10:34:31 wow... don't know what to say... I always thought lewis was the one who made the world record... it seems that I was wrong;...but 8.95, only 5 cm more and it'd have been 9 m... omg, 9m
August 19th, 2008 at 10:57:30 nice, i expected saladino to do better today well he is still in finals. let's see if he can jump over 9m. So bad for howe that is out.
August 19th, 2008 at 11:20:29 I agree actually, all the more shame that he took them. It's also a shame because he seems less of a cocky bastard than so many of the top sprinters.
August 19th, 2008 at 11:43:28 I believe he would still be a awesome athlete without them
August 19th, 2008 at 12:06:27 great performance indeed, but how can you ignore the drugs when he wouldn't be the athlete he was w/o them? insulting has nothing to do with it, he cheated
August 19th, 2008 at 12:29:26 The USA is still better then the rest of the world when it comes to cheating. Most countries can't afford billion dollar drug facilities like the USA can.
August 19th, 2008 at 12:52:25 because that right there is the human LIMIT. I dont even consider steroids being part of his victory. did you see how close the 2 were? very fucking close. Do not insult the man...
August 19th, 2008 at 13:15:24 Hey get angry all you want, but the fact is the USA was just better at cheating than the rest of the world back then. FloJo died of a heart seizure at 40, she'd been using HGH and her heart was >>>enlarged. In fact, 6 out of the 8 runners, including Carl Lewis, who ran in the 1988 100m final have since been proven to be on drugs. I don't know why Lewis's name is still venerated to this day. Even so, it is still pretty amazing watching this competition, very intense.
August 19th, 2008 at 13:38:23 fuck you too.
August 19th, 2008 at 14:01:22 lol...shut up fatass you cant likely jump a foot
August 19th, 2008 at 14:24:21 steroids!
August 19th, 2008 at 14:47:20 Depise cheating steroids fags like Lewis Former US senior anti-doping official Dr.Wade Exum revealed that Carl Lewis is among more than 100 American athletes involved in a cover-up of drug use. Lewis and two of his training partners all took the same three types of banned stimulants pseudoephedrine, ephedrine and phenylpropanolamine & were caught at the 1988 US Olympic trials, which the US Olympic committee covered up. A fucking disgrace..its like Gridiron or baseball..guilty as hell
August 19th, 2008 at 15:10:19 ahah they almost end on the grid. Imagine that. Long jump is very hard to do. U have to land in the sand and you have to watch exactly were u put your food on the white line. I tried it once when i was younger and i land on my back and was out of air for a few sex eheh.
