Send Him Back was a b-side on the 7'' Destination No More Heartache released on March 1972 by Atlantic performed by the legendary family girl group , the Pointer Sisters. The Pointers made fifteen trips to Billboard's top forty singles chart with a total of twenty-seven singles registered altogether on the Billboard Hot 100, and thirty registered on Billboard's Hot Soul/Black/R&B Singles Chart. Seven of those singles reached the top ten singles chart on the Hot 100 and five of those hit the top five. This version appears in "Dirty Edits Vol.I A Collection Of Dirty Classics Selected By Dirty Sound System Edited By Pilooski" on October '07 .

The Pointer Sisters (Ruth, Anita & June) sing 'I'm So Excited' and 'Having A Party' at Le Rex Theatre in Paris in 1985. This show was recorded for TV, and aired on UK TV as a TV special (11.25pm - 12.35am) on Christmas Eve 1985. Source: off-air VHS tape. **This show has never been released commercially on video, as far as I'm aware. But several Pointer Sisters DVDs (of other shows) are available from DVD retailers - do check them out.**

BY djrichmatthews (Sep 11, 2004) -------------------------- The last big American hit for the sisters, "Dare Me" reached #11 on the Billboard Hot 100, #6 on the Hot Singles and Top 5 on both the Dance Singles and Club Play charts. Despite just missing the top 10, the single went gold in the U.S. and earned the Pointers a nomination for best Group/Duo for "Dare Me" and the album it came from ("Contact")... had they won the Grammy that year, they would have been the only artist in history to win Grammys in R, Country ("Fairytale"), and Pop ("Jump (For My Love)" and "Automatic.") Ashford & Simpson got the Grammy that year for "Solid", but "Dare Me" may have won in the long run, having become a cult fave and the source for two big 2004 mainstream club hits: Dave Armstrong sampled/ reconstructed it as "Make Your Move," using original vocals and Junior Jack covered/reconstructed it as "Stupidisco," but without the Sisters' original vocals.
